Tuck does not collect any data. There is no account, no server, no analytics and no third-party SDK. The app makes no network requests.
Tuck asks for no system permissions: no Accessibility access, no Screen Recording, no Input Monitoring.
Tuck adds an arrow and separator lines to your menu bar and changes the size of those items, which makes macOS move the icons beyond them out of view. It does not read the contents of your screen, and it does not read, move or modify other apps' menu bar items.
Your preferences (the hide delay, the shortcut, the always-hidden option) are stored on your Mac by macOS. For troubleshooting, Tuck writes a short line about the position of its own menu bar items to your Mac's local system log each time it hides icons. That log stays on your Mac and is never sent anywhere.
The app contains no networking code. It does not communicate with any server and does not integrate any advertising or analytics service.
Deleting the app removes its settings. There is nothing else to delete.
If a future version introduces data behavior that needs explanation, this page will be updated first.
