K Tempo does not collect any data. There is no account, no server, no analytics and no third-party SDK. The app makes no network requests of its own. Two optional features, iCloud sync and Apple Health writing, are off by default and described below.
Everything you create in the app — training templates, session records, custom metrics and the values you log, reminder settings — is stored only on your device and is included in your encrypted iOS backups. The developer has no access to this data.
The app contains no networking code. It does not communicate with any server and does not integrate any advertising or analytics service.
Daily reminders use iOS local notifications, scheduled entirely on your device without going through any server. You can turn off notification permission at any time in Settings.
The Home Screen widget and the Lock Screen / Dynamic Island Live Activity show a small summary (the template you used last, recent training days, the current phase) that is shared only between the app and its own extensions on your device. Siri Shortcuts run on your device through Apple's App Intents; K Tempo sends nothing to Apple or to the developer. Your voice request itself is handled by Siri under Apple's privacy terms.
If you turn on “Write to Apple Health” in Settings, each training session is written to the Health app as a workout (type “Other”, brand “K Tempo”, start and end time only). K Tempo never reads any Health data, and deleting a record in the app also deletes the corresponding workout. You can revoke this permission at any time in the Health app.
If you turn on “iCloud Sync” in Settings, your training data is stored in your own private iCloud database (CloudKit) so it can follow you to a new phone or other devices. The data is protected by your Apple Account; the developer has no access to it and operates no server. Turn the switch off to stop syncing; you can remove the data from iCloud in iOS Settings → Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Storage.
Settings → Export Data creates JSON and CSV files on your device and hands them to the system share sheet. Where they go from there is up to you.
Deleting the app deletes all of its data. You can also delete individual session records and metric entries inside the app.
If a future version introduces data behavior that needs explanation, this page will be updated first, and any such feature will be off by default.
